Three intense weeks of conferences across the US and Europe — starting with #AERE2025 — now off to #EARE2025 in Bergen, Norway! Excited for inspiring, engaging sessions, reconnecting with colleagues, and Bergen’s stunning scenery.

The path to #aere2025 ended up being 4k miles from Oregon to New Mexico and back again. Got to see the Great Basin NP which has been on my list for years since a radiolab did a show on Prometheus the bristlecone pine
#AERE2025 was worth every flight hour. Fantastic people, great papers, insightful comments, and wonderful avenue in New Mexico.

Woah, how’d he get so good at taking pictures of mountains during sunset? It must be the photographer that’s so good and not just the stunning setting.
