Instead of illegally collected US tariff money being given back to importers who must file a lot of paperwork to receive it and most of which (though no, not all) passed the costs on to consumers, I suspect the economy would be better off if every SSN was sent $436.84.
Imperfect, but fast & easy.

"So..."
"Where sapient stuffies live, yeah. Pooh is public domain now, you know."
When you fix something that wasn't broken yesterday, it doesn't really feel like progress.
#GameNightQuotes: (Circa 2013) Player 1: "There wasn't much livestock, but then they bought mole boars from the svergmuplin."
Player 2: "Svirfneblin."
Player 1: "Swargnurglem"
Player 2: "Sverf-neb-lin."
Player 1; "Smurfnibblings? Okay, so they bought some blue mole boars from the smurfnibblings..."
Except... that kind of hill is called a Butte.
So my adventure would then be:
"Into the Haunted Butte-Hole."
...
I immediately tries alternatives to Hole, but it turns out Butte-Shaft, Butte-Drop, and Mega-Butte-Dungeon are just as bad...
3/3, fini
I stole the name for the original location, so I am always looking for a new name idea.
It occurred to be that there was probably a name for such hills. I could use that name, and just call it "Into the Haunted (hill-name)-Hole."

Sometimes, what seems like a good idea for a name, is NOT a good idea.
I have run and dabbled with an adventure on-and-off for decades. It involves a haunted, isolated hill with steep sides and a flat top with a shaft that leads to an old tomb can be accessed from a shaft at the top of the hill.

"Objection. Unsupported presumption I have grown up."

Famous ttRPG personalities are invited to a $10 mil RPG island tournament. There they discover the players are really injured when their characters are, and the GP are real. They can spend GP on game items, or hoard it. The game goes until 4 PCs are left.
Oh, they are!
GOOD one, both for the pun but ALSO conceptually.
I am terrible at organization, outlining, spelling, typing, follow-through, self-promotion, office politics, collaborating, and time management.
I don't like being told what to do, or deadlines.
My career choice proves I am also an idiot.

Thank you.
As noted elsewhere under this hashtag, I'm not convinced that's TRUE, but thank you.
Language is a virus.
Alien life existing is certain. Sapient life existing is likely. Any of them ever visiting us is farfetched.
Alternity was an underrated game, but also a huge, obvious mistake with easily predictable results.
Orange-chocolate is the best flavor combination ever.

I HATE that!
And Chrome did it to me Friday!
I'm not particularly impressed with myself as a person, or a creator.
Whatever success or impact I have had comes more from those who support, assist, and mentor me than my own ability or effort.
As a result, insulting me is largely a waste of time. I already think worse of myself.

I have occasionally and publicly discussed not posting as much about my personal mental health issues, being a rape survivor, my political beliefs, and the game industry. Each time, at least once person told em that those post had helped them in a major way.
So, that stuff stays.

I once called out a company for not promoting two of the women who had written for them WEEKS after those women were named as GenCon guests, despite the company doing so previous years for male writers.
I'm sure it wasn't intentional.
I got yelled at, and cried
I regret nothing.

If a professional game comes from anyone OTHER than a hobbyist who can literally afford to lose money on it, then it is (by a literal definition) a "money grab."
Here is the COMPLETE list of things you can reasonably do if you think a game costs too much.
1. Don't buy it.

I support numerous models, cosplayers, and sex worker independent creators in the geekosphere, including by sharing their work and commenting on their posts.
I am APPALLED at the sexist, explicit, rude, sometimes THREATENG comments other men leave on those posts.
Bears don't do that.

I don't think I have ever said this in any format before -- but if (and only if) you want to be a GREAT ttRPG designer, you need to play LOTS of different games. Different CLASSES of games. Including games you hate, so you can understand WHY you hate them.
Not doing so is lazy.

I've moved cross-country because of game industry "dream jobs" 3 times. Twice, the job was lost to layoffs in less than a year.
Paizo gets credit for being the third time. I left them of my own accord, due to one of the other two occasions.
It was a terrible mistake I still regret.

Not just fans, though, I have at two major publishers of ttRPG content explicitly tell me I was losing work from them because of my publish support of sex workers.
And a few minor ones told me I was blackballed for supporting LGBTQ+ people and rights.
So, fuck those companies, a well.
The first death threat I ever got was from a fan who said I misreported the size of Darth Vader's starship, the Executor.
That kind of threat is now MASSIVELY outnumbered by those decrying my supporting sex workers, trans people, and not killing children.
So, fuck THOSe fans, too.
#OwensHeadspace
(And, yes, this is one of the rare cases where if someone decried this as "intentionally disrespectful to the fans," there are some fans for which they would be right. And, FUCK those fans.)
The VAST majority of things in game companies I was PRESENT for the discussions and decisions of, that later got decried as "money grabs," or "virtue signalling," or "intentionally disrespectful to the fans," were not any of things.
And, honestly, fuck anyone who thinks they were.
