An experiment might be to fight the left wing, center, right wing as separate battles with a turn limit, after which situation is assessed, possibly a change of table setting and a second round of turns is played. Different phases in a set battle. This gives both strategic options across the tables.

I prefer to call it different, not Utopian. Surely nobody would be able to agree that an already overpopulated planet needs growth. But i agree that in micro scale (personal level) no growth makes no sense whatsoever. It is probably the fundamental contradiction under a lot of challenges we face.
