An excerpt from The Archives of Nylas that reads: "This is one of the wider roads in the area, with plenty of space for pedestrians and vehicles to go about their business. Here, mature trees are dotted along the roadside, with many an elaborate wrought-iron fence and decorative lamppost along the way. The road splits two districts; Neddwick, the historic craftsman quarter, and Corville, a high society neighbourhood. In both places, the buildings were not roughly and hastily built like those around Slaryn house, but instead are neat and deliberate, with polished and slightly decorative architecture. You pass businesses and offices to your left, and rows of tall townhouses occasionally broken up by a detached urban manor to your right."

The Local District suggestions from the City Gen came in handy here. This chapter called for a lot of impromptu world-building and map-making.

An excerpt from The Archives of Nylas that reads: "Sin clears the board and then takes the stage. He doesn't do as well as Terris, complaining that the sun is in his eyes, despite it being overcast, that the bow is defective, despite it being the one that everyone else has been using, and making other such excuses. It's the turn of the students to make comments, teasing him on how they'll soon be better than him. He rebuffs their claims as he clears the board, stating that in a real challenge of aim, they'd never be a master like him. Archery is for chumps he says, despite being the instructor of an archery class."

An excerpt from The Archives of Nylas Vol. 2 that reads: "They walk in formation, singing and chanting as they accompany a series of gilded carriages, each pulled by two or more horses. You cannot see what is carried by the first as it has already gone past you, but the second carries a beautiful cage containing a decorated ram, horns and fleece painted with swirling patterns, and he too wears gold jewellery. The third carriage contains a cow in a similar arrangement. Then, the final carriage passes by, this one carrying a casket. Made of dark wood trimmed with gold, it is surrounded by a high pile of fresh flowers, leaves and vines. Of the robed attendants who accompany it, four carry sensors, two on either side, swinging them gently and filling the air with a strong scent, both earthy and floral."

"Unfortunately, in Derna, the moment ya end up on the streets, most folks tend to treat ya as if ya cursed, and they won't give ya no chances, no matter yer potential" she says."

An excerpt from The Archives of Naylas that reads: "Afterwards they’re a little more balanced, shooting each other and themselves down in certain areas, but, suggesting areas where individuals would actually manage to do well. They all agree that Elaphora, “Ellie” who was hanging clothes in the courtyard earlier, would be capable of handling bears or bandits, except Ellie, who claims she would faint and crumple to the ground immediately if she saw a bear. Any bandit or bear who tried to harass Morrie, the boss of the washerwomen, or Agnai, the one who started this whole discussion, would instantly regret their decision, though for different reasons. Were it to come down to a fight, Morrie would likely stand the best chance."
