I live in Derbyshire, but travel to Scotland as much as I can. I have friends on Mull.

Just thought I’d share some small woven tapestries I’ve been working on… the first 2 are inspired by the Ross of Mull and the second 2 by Namibia. #woventapestry #tapestryweaving #respondingtothelandscape
Book cover of Climateinjustice - why we need to fight global inequality to combat climate change by Friederike Otto. The cover is black with large pink & orange writing.
One more day & my book can be found in bookstores in the UK. If you can't wait, you can read a big part of the first chapter here: www.theguardian.com/environment/... you miss out though why I chose to talk about the colonial-fossil narrative, instead of say the neo-liberal-patriarchial.

BREAKING: We’ve WON a historic case against the Rosebank & Jackdaw oil & gas fields. 🎉
👏 NO NEW OIL AND GAS! 📣
This is GAME-CHANGING.
And it’s ONLY been possible thanks to YEARS of fighting by THOUSANDS of climate campaigners! Power to the people. ✊
This burn is epic. 🔥
More proof that the BBC’s integrity has been compromised
I finished these wee cushions! And they came joint 3rd in our wool group competition. Not my finest work but they met the brief of using all the fibre with a garden theme. Delighted that each one went home with someone!
Fabulous! Love the colour, too
It’s really useful book.
I love you to add me! Co-author of Inspired to Spin
I used to, for about 10 years, but back with the old method I learned at school 50+ years ago
I do hope they like the book and it’s useful!
Yep, I’m doing it, too, here in the Uk
Silly, silly, silly. She is now, literally, damned if she does & damned if she doesn’t. Excellent explainer below.
Bluesky/Twitter-wise, it is extraordinary that a British, ahem, media figure couldn’t post simple condemnations of people comfortable with an adjudicated rapist, coup inciter & serial felon becoming Potus without drowning under sustained & vicious attack. I think that place boiled *all* our brains.
This is a key constituent of fascism & the very essence of ‘Muskism’: promoting bullshit, silencing truth-tellers & calling the whole grift ‘free speech’. Twitter as a rehearsal for the USA.
Here’s some hope for the future and something we should all get behind.

There’s a scheme in the Derby hospitals that puts art on the walls. I was featured a few years ago and got some lovely compliments.
