What once required time, expertise, and intent can now be automated at scale. Code is no longer just read. It is scanned, mapped, and exploited. Near zero cost. In that world, transparency becomes exposure. Especially at scale. After a lot of deliberation, we’ve made the decision to close the core @calcom codebase.

So we're back to security through obscurity? Sorry, but this is wrong. Our OSS apps and libs will be more secure thanks to the new models, not less. They are being released to researchers responsibly. Let's help maintainers avoid burnout. Let's fund them. Let's welcome more eyes checking our code.
