It was all a bit wild Jen but thankfully other than a fence down, we came off ok. Lots of people have so much damage done 😢
Wee bit of peace and calm this weekend. And……relax 🙏
Loved the Topsy and Tim books
And nursing the heads too 😂
My next book Making Hybrid Working Work is out on 3 January (pre-order from the link in the comments). Its a manifesto on how to help your organisation to thrive in the new world of work.
See what Michelle Parry-Slater had to say when she kindly reviewed a copy for me.

Just someone with personality joining the party lol
No. Zach didn’t get a phone or a tele in his room until big school. And we had all the controls. They’ll experience big life too soon and I’m for holding on to a wee bit of innocence as long as you can 👍🏻
Paul I did the same this morning and it was toasty. Lovely morning here in Norn Ireland. You have a great day
Etymology of the day: to be ‘blowing a hoolie’ (or ‘hooley’) was probably inspired by the Orkney word ‘hoolan’, a howling gale, with a touch of the ‘hooley’ that is a very noisy party thrown in.
Mine is too literal. But hopeful ❤️

I see them bloom, for me and you, and I think to myself, what a wonderful world’ #TreesInASongOrAMovie
It’s Thursday, and from Jan 2025, that means the #HRHour returns!
A very warm welcome to the new people who have recently joined our growing community.
The more of us we have, the broader our views, knowledge and support evolves.
It’s how Twitter started lol. We will get an edit button ☺️#IBelieve
Same thing today….I sat in the car though lol
Hey Fran it’s so lovely to see you here ❤️
As companies continue to grapple with remote first, office first, hybrid, etc. what are the considerations for leaders?
Here’s a little something I pulled together after the last International HR Forum get-together.

Oh no. Had it a couple of years ago. After rest, some exercises do help ( Google them ) and weirdly walking it off on flat ground. Epsom salt warm baths too. And Udder Mint. Hope it passes soon
Back to my old Uni today. Great round table on Leadership and Employee Wellbeing. The memories are always strong in this place ❤️
I haven’t made the break yet but liking what I see here 👍🏻
Yes it was lovely last week Meg.

Excellent Michael - thank you - and hello from a cold and frosty Norn Ireland
Who knew soda bread and butter would be a ‘London thing’ - lovely to see you Tim. Waving from Portaferry ☺️
The 2024 series of the #AdventBlogs - the 14th since it started, and my 6th and final one as curator - starts on 1 December and will make its BlueSky debut.
This year's theme: "I don't want to go"
Unfamiliar with the series - the post explains more: epichr.co.uk/2024/11/01/a...
Word of this morning is ‘procaffeinate’: to put everything on hold until you’ve had sufficient amounts of coffee.
It’s lovely to see you again 🤪
