Please engrave this in bronze and hang it over the door of every journalism school everywhere. Something that MAY happen is not a story. Something that DOES happen is.
I MAY turn into a dragonfly at 3PM this Wednesday. We gonna cover this thing that MAY happen?

Record Store Day is this Saturday. And before you start complaining, remember RSD began as a way to celebrate independent record stores not horde collectibles.
If long lines/amassing trinkets are YOUR experience with the holiday, I suggest you are doing it wrong.

I wish this weren't so but a lot of what your describing is basically dumb tehnicalities. Until very recently, the hall only allowed itself 5 inductees a years which slowed the rate of induction significantly...
So Oasis is not my bag of bananas at all, but, overall, Luther Vandross, the Wu Tang Clan, Phil Collins, Sade, Billy Idol, Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, MC Lyte and Queen Latifah getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is an A-OK year for me...
Or how about...
youtu.be/9gs1_ndm3r4?...
Dude, me too on that Baby Huey song. That Baby Huey Record is boss...
Dude, you've got a real golden road ahead of you. A WHOLE NEW THING they were just getting warmed up. Up next is STAND! There's a Riot Going On and...:)
Which record?
Duuuude. Come now!
Hey thank you for the praise. Ain’t it a great movie? Also was made for like 19 cents and looks amazing don’t it?
Coming this Summer: There's going to be a documentary about Mary Oliver:

Don’t even TRY to tell me you can watch Keith Davids reaction to receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame because I will know you lyin’
Never mind that money and class is a reoccuring theme for all six seasons of the original SEX AND THE CITY series (the character of Steve Brady is not a townie bartender by accident). So it may not be integral but its a big ole choice the creators of that show made.
Someone should sell tickets...
DYK? Johnny Rotten loved the band Foreigner and played "Hot Blooded" incessantly, complete with Air Guitarring...

For those who still use RSS (and really, why would you not?) there's now a way to get RSS Feeds from Facebook, IG, Threads and Youtube...

The issue appears to have resolved itself. Where do you accept feature requests?
Sure thing...
Are they DRMD? No. File format .mp3
Also, FWIW, I've tried creating a Watch Folder of my ITunes library to no success. A simple 3rd party import tool might do the trick better, here. Or a generalized scan of one's entire hard drive?
Sail on (slowly) my good man
Appreciate that, man. Thank you :)
But as far as "Friends" being a selling point, I'd dial that back until one's friends can be accessed in some way that is meaningful to the average user and not the edge cases that happen to have Last.fm accounts AND a critical mass of friends that do also.
Appreciate hearing back from you and understand the privacy issue. My music streaming service is Qobuz which you do not support, I don't think.
2. I am not a Spotify user but having to install a Spotify Developers to integrate spotify is too complicated by half for the average person
3. You can't sort "Critical Darlings" by Score and not have the Score (as in a number) posted somewhere. What does "score" mean w/o an actual score visible?
Appreciate you saying that. Immediate thoughts...
1. The friends feature is an overpromise if your friends list has to come from Last.fm and/or Music Brainz memberships. Is "import from contacts" or import from social media on the horizon?
1/2
After trying both Roon and now @parachord.bsky.social I am resigned to the sad fact that there's really no music player for me. Had high hopes from @parachord.bsky.social but a lot of overpromise, under everything else.
A graphic with a backdrop of the Space Shuttle taking off at night. In front of this, a screen shot from Zoom of three men and a woman smiling out from their respective widows -- Kevin Smokler, Alonso, Kevin Avery, and Drea. Below this, a cutout image of astronaut Eileen Collins in an orange space suit, holding a black space helmet.
We're shining some light on a new doc about Eileen Collins, NASA's first female pilot and commander. It's SPACEWOMAN, with guest @weegee.bsky.social.
Then we share a boatload of female directors you might not be familiar with (and some you definitely are)! #filmsky
