Thank you for your reply, Gert. Yep, I have looked at books and on the internet and was still none the wiser as to which one it could be. I will have a look at my books again and write notes using your observations for future reference. Much appreciated. ๐Ÿ™‚

These photos were taken at #uptonwarren (Moors) on 16 April. I think this is a Caspian Gull, but would welcome confirmation or suggestions as to what it might be. Many thanks #WorcsBirds

Spent afternoon at #UptonWarren #worcsWT yesterday (29.10.25). Saw kingfisher, kestrel and gull at the Flashes. Very quiet on the water but plenty of birds in the trees and bushes. Saw, chiff chaff, goldfinch, white wagtail, LTtits, buzzard. Later at Moors deer, fox, wigeon, teal, swans etc.

Enjoyed a day out at Croome Court yesterday and saw 4 Glossy Ibis and a Cormorant sitting on top of a tree. Much better view of the Glossy Ibis than we had at Slimbridge on Tuesday. Thank you to Mike Holley for the help and information. ๐Ÿ‘

Thank you so much the information, that is incredibly helpful. If we are successful I will put some pictures up. We haven't been for a while, but we have NT membership, so even if we are unlucky, I will console myself with a cream scone. Thanks again.

Oooh, we may head over to Croome tomorrow tomorrow. Great video. Thanks for posting this on here.

A visit to WWT Slimbridge on 23 September 2025. Glossy Ibis was seen but too far away to get a worthwhile photo.

Fantastic picture. We were at WWT Slimbridge on the 23 September. We saw one Glossy Ibis from a distance from upstairs at the Zeiss Hide (my pictures just show black blobs). The Black Tail Godwits were busy feeding, but managed to get a couple of okayish pictures.

* I meant the Moors*

Oh thank goodness one survived. We were watching when the grebes were nesting. When the chicks hatched we counted at least 4 vying to get on the adults back for a ride around the Flashes. I was so upset that they seemed to have all disappeared. Thanks for sharing the picture and information.

22 May 2025 at #UptonWarren the moors. It's the quickest I've seen this family of geese (8 goslings) move when the Muntjac came through.
