I thought the console wars-style marketing/trolling was limited to North America. It's interesting that this exists AND is only limited to the JP version! Is the illustration official or fan-based? I'm guessing the latter.

Only on the JP version, if you hold C+Start on the 2nd controller when the Sega logo appears, you'll see Mania stomp on a Super Famicom before the intro starts
