🪳New project: helping two amazing PhD students with their project on the impact of phenology and trophic transfer on alpine food webs.

I have never seen so many wildflowers in my life! These meadows are absolutely amazing! 🌸🌼🪻🌷🌹🌻🌺

🌱 Round-leaved Sundew (𝘋𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘢) are #carnivorous #flowering #plants native to most of Europe.

🪰 They are found in #moorlands, where the #soil is low in #nutrients, leading them to carnivory. Their #nectar like mucus attracts small #insects that they trap and digest on the outside!
