A felled tree lies lies horizontally across a field of green and brown native grasses. It has one branch remaining that is raised upward and outward at about a 30 degree angle. At the end of that vranchis one long section that reminds me of the fictional character E.T., from the movie of the same name in the early 80's. There are foothills and mountains behind the tree about a half mile away. The sky above is a lovely light blue with a few white clouds tinged with gray. The caption of the image reads: "E.T.phone home."

An aerial / atmospheric perspective of the Truckee Meadows is pictured. The ground in the valley is dry and covered with native plants and grass. There is a dirt trail in the foreground as well. Off in the distance is Mount Rose and it is still snow covered. The ski runs at Rose are visible and the sky is a beautiful blue colour.

Thank you Pepper! They're from a few years back but I used to always stop there because they're very close to a surf shop I got a lot of gear at, not far from Bodega Bay.

A tall artificial tree reaches towards the overcast, cloudy sky. It resembles a Pine tree but it is really just absorbing and relaying data signals.
