If people donβt do the things that bring joy and meaning to their lives, what are we saving the world for?

Personally I think Babel or Jade City. I got burnt out on Sanderson when I did mistborn back to back with stormlight.
Update on the #booksnake. Still need to add a face at some point π₯΄ but I love seeing the progress! We are 26 days in and have read 251 books. We are on track to read 3,200 books by the end! #crochet π π #booksky
Of course I'd have a snow day the day BEFORE my copy of Onyx Storm arrives π

Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
Gael son trilogy by Shauna Lawless starting with Children of Gods and Fighting Men. Don't even remember who recommended it but it's my new favorite series
Tiktok being back so soon is like when your childhood dog runs away for a month and you grieve and start to move on then they come back and now you don't know how to act.
This whole situation is so weird. Yes I have major reservations about the whole app at this point. I feel like I've grieved and moved on. For it to be back now is so weird and feels fishy
First book took a while to get into. World building and all that. The second one here so far is probably the best middle book for a trilogy I've experienced. The story and characters are so gripping. Well worth the read.
Wait what?? How is it back already?
The Words of Kings and Prophets by Shauna Lawless. Book 2 of the Gael Song trilogy. It's absolutely phenomenal.
I'm really jealous of people who can listen to audiobooks or read at work. All I want to do is finish my book but nooooo I need to think critically and crap.

A deep red piece of knitted fabric with cables and bobbles. The piece is not finished, as seen by the knitting stitches at the end and is sitting on a grey wood background
First test knit is going so well. I love all the textures. Such a fun and addictive knit. Pattern is Currant Shawl by Life is Cozy and coming soon!

A long haired calico cat sits on a cream and flower blanket with eyes half open. There is a tan couch and bookshelf in the background.
Banana is not ready to be productive and neither am I.
