Identified as Artomyces pyxidatus I assume? Quite common in the temperate parts of the northern hemisphere

Mooi!

This looks a lot like a Russula variant and not a fly agaric. Did you edit the color balance and/or do you have photo’s taken from the side? Amanita’s (fly agaric’s family) have a ‘skirt’ around the stem 😊

Stinkhorns usually smell really *bad*, but when the mucus on the head is gone the smell is a less is my experience. ObsIdentify tags the picture as a stinkhorn (Phallus Impudicus).
Also it is technically edible, but doesn’t taste good. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phallus...

Smell it and you know it is inedible. Looks like a stinkhorn and not a morel 😊

A beautiful Amanita phalloides, in english called a Death cap or Groene knolamaniet (Green bulbamanite) in dutch. You van take the ‘death’ part quite literally, nowadays around 15% of the casualties die within 15 days, those who survive do not fully recover. #fungifriends

Point deduction for windirstat because it uses an installer instead of a drop in folder executable ;)

You are in Australia? Might be Gymnopilus junonius, aka spectacular rustgill. Beautifull mushroom!

The scene in Rivendell, where Frodo is recovering in bed? That is in part 1, before the creation of the fellowship

That looks like Coprinus comatus, or Shaggy inkcap. In a day or so it will start to ‘melt’ into ink, that is how it spread spores :).

Does he want to be scratched on lower back? Our whippet does something like that when he has a jacket on. He rubs in bushes and loves being rubbed on his lower back

Has your phone not been filled by thousands of pictures of random mushrooms, enough to keep fungiposting for the coming months??

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

The number of ‘I ate this mushroom am I going to die’ posts on mushroom Reddit’s are also shockingly high, just WHY

The mushroom season is ending here, weather around 0 celsius at night. Only the polypores are still around. Found a Mensularia Radiata in the forest, grows on Alder tree #fungifriends
