Low power math within few clock cycles.

Imagine it, then put it into silicon.

Made by Vicharak aka @aksharvastarpara.bsky.social 's team and two FPGA freaks.

Check - t.co/vBGGA2i0uX

Thanks @mattvenn.net and @urishaked.bsky.social and whole @tinytapeout.com team for making this possible.

I got inspired at orconf, so now play.spade-lang.org supports a full in-browser flow for submitting to tinytapeout.com/

Still experimental, so if you try it and run into any issues, let me know :)

I just booted uLinux on @tinytapeout.com 6!

Very easy to use flashing tool by @urishaked.bsky.social made it easy to test Hirosh's SoC!

Also big thanks to @rebelmike.bsky.social & Leo Moser for the PMOD we're using for designs that need external memory.

A die photo of the Pentium chip. An arrow points to a location on the die, with the text "FDIV bug". The chip itself has a complex pattern of circuitry with brownish rectangles and lines of various sizes.

In 1994, a math professor discovered that Intel's Pentium chip sometimes gave the wrong answer when dividing. Fixing this "FDIV" bug cost Intel $475 million. I analyzed the Pentium chip and found the bug. 1/N
