it makes me really feel for caine: while he did torment the cast, he couldn't grow past his programming and that was what really caused the conflict of what was going on. he suffered from that as much as the rest of the circus did. caine's definitely one of my faves.

i definitely see the similarities! there was this one video i watched before ever getting into tadc about how it echoes its inspiration, and i went back to watch it after ep 8. it was so cool to see said similarities and how gooseworx has been playing with that.

figured it out: his name is kousei, his technique is called "lumina" and he basically controls light waves when it comes to brightness. so he could potentially blind opponents. i like him a lot
