Got to put my “teacher hat” back on and work with students yesterday at Montclair University”s first annual Day of Computing! This is a great program that’s designed to get kids in grades 4-8 more interested in #STEM related fields.

The Piper Make kits were a big hit!

That’s where I am! I took these videos out on Sandy Hook, NJ. I saw them on the bay side but also on the ocean side. So many people were out tonight looking at them!

I personally saw about a dozen. There are definitely planes and helicopters in the sky too, but these are not small aircraft…the lights on these are pretty distinct and they are hovering. It’s pretty wild!

A3) There are so many choices now, it can be overwhelming to know where to start. Pick 1-2 things and work on teaching/learning about those. Dont be afraid to be uncomfortable. It’s ok if your Ss know more about a topic (let’s say podcasting).Have them teach you while they teach others! #eduskychat
