I understand. My meds stop the extremes I’m very fortunate that my last mania was 2 decades ago. But my only 2 choices were be a zombie or learn how to cope with the smaller (ha) cycles after good meds prevent the drastic life destroying ones. I’ve tried both. I much prefer using coping strategies.

I was diagnosed (BD1) a little over a quarter century ago after over a quarter century of extreme adult cycling and childhood symptoms for 12 years before that.

I haven’t got a clue what the hearts are supposed to mean. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I love the color purple and I use it for love, care and/or recognition. 💜
