Balsamroot blooming away in my native plant garden. These take 5-6 years to bloom but it was worth the wait. 😍
..Lethbridge[has a] $14-billion-a-year worldwide food industry built up over 70 years. It provides thousands of jobs. McCain recently expanded its potato plant, providing 250 new, permanent jobs. Even minor selenium exceedances cause food shipments to be rejected.

We are excited to join Blue Sky. We are a Native Wildflower Nursery located in the Foothills of Alberta, Canada. We hand collect our seeds from our glorious back-county. We hope you will follow along & see what grows here & maybe get inspired to Grow Wild. #nativewildflowers #Albertawildflowers
Did you know? We specialize in perennial native plants, so rather than buy annuals again, why not get flowers that will return year after year 🌞🎋💚 www.wildaboutflowers.ca/index.php #solidago #goldenrod #prairie #spring #plantnursery #sunshine #flowers #wildflower

We proudly co-sign and join these incredible organizations calling for the immediate resignation of the President & CEO of the #AER and all AER Board members. The job is an important one and you've failed every Albertan for far too long. #ResignAER #StopCoal #ProtectOurWater #SaveOurSlopes #abpoli
Love your style. ❤️
This is one of my absolute favourites and is only pollinated by the Sphinx Moth family from what I understand. I love how the flowers turn pink. We see this in SE Alberta but it grows well even in Chinook country.
I need some colour on this whiter than white winter day. I call this pic Purple Haze. Looking over Showy Jacob’s Ladder, Silky Scorpion Weed, Forget-Me-Nots and Mouse-eared Chickweed towards the Livingston range in the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains late on a spring day.
Beautiful show happening tonight.
Beautiful backcountry drive in southern Alberta today. A little sun, some snow, some rain, and lots of vibrant autumn colours.
Bottle Gentian peaking out of the old log. The bees must push their way inside the flower to pollinate it as it never opens.
The native annual Sunflower - Helianthus annuus brings in all sorts of critters. Goldfinches love them and this guy, who I think is a Perplexing Bumble Bee - Bombus perplexus was huge!
