Tried to play Super Mario for MAR10 Day and got my arse handed to me in the first castle so I ragequit and decided to make my own 2D platformer. With blackjack. And hookers.
In fact, forget the 2D platformer.
Brandon Sanderson says most humans can write 300-700 words an hour. The lower boundaries for the word count of a novel is 40,000 words.
Therefore it is theoretically possible to write the first draft of a short novel in 80 hours, or 10 work days.
