Wise decision. To be fair weβve had key injuries at totally the wrong times. Is Poku our Darren Anderton? ππ

After the last few performances Iβd need them to pay me to go Matt.
Excellent news Corrinne π₯³
Wise investment π
So many great albums on Soul Jazz Darren π
Yes of course it a reissue as Iβm sure MrsE would not understand if I managed to get my grubby mits on an almost impossible to find original. Not many records evoke such feelings as arguably the birth of Bossa Nova recording. Classic is too often used but in this case it genuinely is one.
As covers go this is a belter. Found a copy of it on an old Baz Fe Jazz compilation and can see it being played at many a summer party along with the Odell Brown & the Organizers cover of Mas Que Nada β€οΈ #JazzDance
Joyous album π
Yep, never bought a RSD pressing.
I was in Soho yesterday and the people buying RSD stuff was amazing. Me, I bought a 1958 Roberto Menescal album and a 1987 Baz Fe Jazz compilation on Cadet records.
On the way home with my haul in tow π·
A small treat to myself while in London.
Off for a mooch around Soho today to search out for a gem or two. Have a good dig Jayne π€
AquΓ‘ticos - Fabiano Do Nascimento & E Ruscha V, perfect Monday evening chilled listening.
Up and at em. New week begins as usual with my 7.30 swim. Hope everyone has a successful week and the global news improves.
Thames Water's creditors want to set a new low for privatised water by asking Ofwat to sign off on a deal which allows them to break the rules. Ofwat are poised to agree. We can't let them. Email your MP now: weownit.org.uk/act-now/the-...
Nearly 1 in 6 UK species are threatened with extinction.
We've lost 97% of our wildflower meadows since the 1930s.
We have 73 million fewer birds than in the 1970s - a decline of almost a third.
And yet some politicians still just see wildlife as a blocker to progress.
Really enjoyed the show Mark. Mambo do Martelo has been a track Iβve been playing for quite some time from the same compilation. ππ
On this day in 2019. How is this so long ago. I think it was the last ever Sunday Afternoon at Dingwalls. The brilliant Mafalda on the decks.
This fills me with hope for so many reasons. Show this to your daughters and let their imaginations run free. #Artemis2
Never a truer word ππ
My wife is a teacher & I concur completely. We live near the school where ofsted killed Ruth Perry. When will they ever sort this complete shit show out?
This ill conceived & pointless conflict has cost the lives of innocent people & it will push many into poverty around the globe. Take a bow Donald you self promoting, egotistical, completely useless excuse of a human being. Now he has the neck to say he doesnβt care π€¦
Top album too π
I donβt disagree with you however in comparison to most businesses the margins all supermarkets make is very low in a volatile business sector.
Hate to play devils advocate but that is only Β£11,500 per annum per employee or only 2.3% against overall revenue.
Eclectic plus you got the 6-1 money shot in ππ΅βͺοΈπ΅βͺοΈβ½οΈ
Lovely day in Oxford, lunch at the White Rabbit, pocket square and Marvis from Burrows & Hare, sandals from Russell & Bromley, swimming shorts from JL and a Bill Evans audiophile repress from Blackwells. Better do some work Monday to pay for it all π
Looks like it should have been a cover of a Modesty Blaise novel.
Me neither. Hope it finds its audience.
