Lmao it's the second time i hear people comparing her to Viktor, i assume thats because of the hairstyle/color palette and maybe her leg which i actually borrowed from an entirely different franchise 😆 (i'm not offended i just find it funny bc i didn't think about Viktor at all when creating her)

brushes without color jittering have very smooth and weird feeling. but i liked it so maybe i'll draw some other characters in this style. anyway here is a wip
some more interesting variants with more archaic clothing elements. tbh it's surprisingly hard to incorporate without breaking this 19 century european uniform realness vibe. let's hope some excessive decor and skulls and aquillas will set it home anyway
And thank you for writing this! It was an incredible ambitious idea for my current skill level and it is one of my favourite scenes, so it was a challenge to at least come close to what I had in my mind and do it justice. I'm reaally happy to hear that I managed to capture some of the mood :)

if i remember the msq correctly, alphinaud was really sweet, naive, and was trying to solve everything with diplomacy and friendship for the first couple of expacs
