As the physician who requested the AI avatar, I guess it will be up to you what it can and cannot do. Even now, the public is turning to Chatgpt for “counseling.” #healthxph

i was thinking how this can be more efficient but micromanaging as you said might mean watching your avatar to check what it said … not efficient that way. #healthxph

This is a static avatar. Imagine this image of you moving and talking and doing HIV counseling. #healthxph

That would mean imbuing the AI avatar with your essence so to speak. i’m not sure how I feel about that. #healthxph

That is unauthorized use. But the example tonight is the physician willingly creating an avatar of herself to carry out some functions like explaining lab results. #healthxph

If I had an AI avatar, and my patient interacted with it either before or after the consult, does that make the patient more likely to follow the treatment plan? #healthxph

The same has happened on my Facebook page. The patient has watched my video and has seen me before they get to my clinic. But this is more … eerie? The avatar can interact with the patient as me but it’s not me. #healthxph

in the demo, the doctor decided to have the avatar in her likeness and voice explain lab results. I guess the question I’m asking is … do I want to do that? #heakthxph
