April 28, 1760- The last major battle of the French and Indian war begins in Sainte Foy; as 3400+ British soldiers under General Murray, take on 7000+ French/native under General Levis, on the outskirts of Quebec City. A bloody French victory that sees hours of chaotic close combat.

March 20, 1760- A massive fire breaks out in the early morning hours of Boston and destroys 350 buildings and 10 docked ships at the wharf. Amazingly no loss of life took place but the fire leaves 220 families homeless.

February 27, 1760- 60 Cherokee warriors attack settlers outside of Fort Dobbs in the North Carolina colony as one settler child and two British soldiers were killed before the security of the fort repelled the attackers.
