Follow the money. Trump’s ruling models are the kleptocratic/authoritarian Gulf monarchies. Fearing accountability, he will try to remain in power & intends to stay on the scene internationally through his forever chairmanship of the “Board of Peace” which is at minimum another big source of graft.

A decidedly flawed take on Iraq’s post-2003 implosion which had as much to do with terrible USG decision-making & Iraq’s full-scale societal fragmentation as it did with external meddling.
