If your books are in the Anthropic copyright settlement...don't be this guy.
Yes, a crappy gift card is the expectation in many class action settlements, but not this time: per work payout is at least $3,000, & may be higher.
If you don't file, you get nothing. Deadline is 3/30. File today.

And I am lucky! I am getting care. And had the means to travel across the country for care, sick as the travel made me.

If there are any other Long Covid clinics in Houston, I am unaware of them. Fourth largest metropolitan area in the country. Millions of people, even by lowest estimates of LC in population, there have to be hundreds of thousands of us here. 7/7. #MECFS #PACS #LongCOVID

In Jan 2026, BCM rescheduled me from April 2026 to FEB 2027. Reason given "Dr [] is out, and we have very few Providers for this Clinic, I have you on our wait list." Their web site still exists, so hopefully their clinic is still running. 6/

At the same time I booked UTHH LCC, I booked at Baylor College of Medicine's Post Covid Care Clinic, just in case, since I knew clinics were closing everywhere.. 9 month wait. Appointment in April 2026. Kept it on the books just in case UT falls through. 5/

A few weeks after my first appointment at UT Health Houston LCC, that long covid clinic closed down, doctors returned to their original department, losing all their experienced long covid support staff. My doc continues to see existing patients - I am lucky! 4/

...to find out what new treatments were available. I followed up at 1 year and was told "The Post-COVID Care Clinic has transitioned out of its area and is no longer able to offer follow-up visits." Referred to UT Health Houston long covid clinic. Only 2 month wait due to a cancellation! 3/

...Got in to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester after several months' wait in 2024. Consultation clinic only - they worked me up, provided several remote education sessions after I was home, provided a dense 16 page report of things to try for my PCP. Said I could follow up with them annually... 2/

A researcher found that only 30 out of 400 clinics offering #LongCOVID care in the US responded to multiple attempts to contact them to ascertain whether they still provide Long COVID care. Reported in @thesicktimes.org at clinics.thesicktimes.org

Like I said, all I was doing was answering your question what was meant by 'smaller generation.' Not defending crappy people in my generation, of which there are many. It could also be argued that Millennials NOT voting bears some responsibility for the outcome.

Births underlying each generation
Not agreeing with tiny&boxed in, not agreeing with Trump support. We're a smaller generation because fewer of us were born than in surrounding generations: www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/...
