As long as your stitches match the gauge given, you could work this pattern in regular single crochet or regular knit stitch.

But since this piece uses a simple stitch pattern (it’s just rows of regular stitches with some increases and decreases – that’s really it) a different technique can easily be substituted in.

I think I lost my last reply! This is from the elf coat by Morale fiber- I imagine it’s a similar thing:

I know someone who’s currently using sc in place of TSS on a morale fiber Tunisian pattern - I think it should work fine. I’ll see if I can find the link
