Can I just say #revpit editors emailing those of us that didn't make it are wonderful angels? When I wasn't picked it was easy to stop believing in my writing/book. Validation should come from within and all but alas I am human. Then to find out I made a longlist and 2 shortlists?? HUGE THANK YOU 😭❤️

I'm more than halfway through my second to last edit before querying! i.e. I'm on my way down the mountain and the finish line is in sight if you squint. I'll have to double back around with my weedwhacker to cut a bunch of unnecessary words though 😅

I think I'm more confused now (which may just be my sick brain lol). You're saying trad pub rejects A crossover for YA crossover? If a book is solidly adult (in themes, content, and MC age) but reads fast paced and "vibey" like YA, how would an author market that in a query?
