Last week, 22 young people travelled to Sheffield for our Art Is Key project, reflecting on their journeys with HIV, then and no, and what it’s like living with HIV. Through song writing and drama they brought their stories to life, ending in a final sharing.

Research into paediatric, adolescent, and maternal HIV is often neglected at major scientific HIV conferences. The Pediatrics & HIV Workshop is highly focussed on these topics.

There are just two weeks left to submit abstracts!

Such a thought provoking talk from Professor Maryam Shahmanesh about what's going on globally in terms of funding for HIV research and medication, and what we in the UK can do to help the situation elsewhere.

Community advocacy can and does make a difference.

Dr Merle Henderson and Prof Rashida Abbas Ferrand's talk surmised that Clinicians & GPs need to assess for co-morbidities beyond HIV, including heart health & bone density.

There's hope that the next generation who began treatment younger may see improved long-term outcomes.
