IT FINALLY HAPPENED, this was such a slow burn
Barto, who is extremely popular on my island for some reason, actually had the audacity and tried to snatch Luly away from Marco, but Luly chose good! #malul

I was holding Luly up, waiting for Blaze and Marco to finish their conversation so I could throw Luly at Marco once again (they're STILL not dating). And once done Blaze and Marco go like "!!!!" and run over to Luly, jumping up and trying to grab-save him, I CAN'T THIS IS TOO FUCKING CUTE AAAA

So I made Luly and Marco in Tomodachi Life as well as some other characters like Blaze (Luly's kid) and Barto, and my mii decided to be cringe and fall in love with Barto after he existed for 2 seconds, disturbing a #malul date.

Marco proceeded to be an old man and spent most of the day asleep.

Luly has a one piece canon version, and then the deadlock version which I literally only made to have someone to ship the Doorman with (cause I really can't see him with any of the canon cast personally)

A comic featuring Marco the Phoenix from One Piece and my OC Luly van Kalayan, who at this time is female and pregnant. I'll describe their clothes first. Marco is wearing his iconic magenta shirt, is bandaged around the chest, wears a blue sash around his waist and dark pants. He's got his phoenix wings, tail and legs out for most of the comic. Luly is pregnant, showing a small bump and wears his usual tophat (yes, he's female here but still uses he/him pronouns) and a long desaturated purple dress with polka dots in the skirt part. Panel 1: Establishing Shot of the Island of Sphinx, it's sunset/evening time and Marco the Phoenix is flying towards it. Above the first panel text says "Post Wano, art by winkuzz". The second panel looks over Marco's shoulder as he's flying from behind him, looking down at the shore of Sphinx, where there's a figure standing, Marco notices them. The third panel is a closeup shot of Marco smiling and looking relieved to see his partner Luly, who's showing still from a looking down on him view as he's looking up at Marco, waving, calling out his name. The third panel then shows Luly with his arms wide open, turned to the right as Marco shoots down with his wings wide spread towards the left. In the fourth and last, big panel, they're meeting with a tight embrace that carries so much energy, Luly's tophat is flying off. Marco's hands and arms are back and the flames that shaped his wings before are slowly dissolving and trailing in the air behind him.

~ Post Wano Return ~

I saw a panel of Marco flying back to Sphinx post Wano and had to make my own version. Playing with the idea that at that time, Luly's pregnant, which is why he couldn't join the fight in my version of the story.

A commissioned artwork I got from BN Juhayang, who drew my OC Luly van Kalayan with his partner Marco. The two are in a dance-like embrace, holding hands in the foreground, while Marco's other hand is around Luly's back, Luly's other hand is holding onto Marco's shirt. Luly's eyes are closed and he's laughing widely, clearly feeling comfortable and enjoying himself. Marco in the meantime only has eyes for his partner, smiling at Luly's face. Both men are showing some chest, their shirts open and Luly's chest has some chest fuzz exposed, which is very rare for him. Marco's wearing a white shirt, while Luly is wearing his iconic coat with a piano pattern on the collar, colored in a kinda desaturated plum-ish purple, with green buttons.

And well.. Marco and Luly got excited and then Luly ends up having to stay fem for a bit longer than initially planned. Still he/him pronouns though and he'll get flipped back eventually, but yeah this is the basic context!

Less of an AU and more of a potential outcome, actually! The idea was that Luly has to go into hiding after some drama, thus Iva gender flipping him to make him less recognizable. Luly ends up hiding on Sphinx as it's independent from WG and cause Marco can keep him safe.

An additional bonus panel showing Marco in full Phoenix form flying up into the sky as we're staying with Luly on the ground, and Marco is catching Luly's tophat from the air. Luly has his hands clasped in front of him, eyes big, tears showing and he looks intensely relieved, smiling widely. The speech bubbles say: "Oh GOODNESS GRAVY - Good catch, love!"

Luly was born on Cantabella, then became a pirate, then a prisoner and then revolutionary. Since then his home was the Revolutionary Army, but in current one piece time, his home is Sphinx, which is where he's staying with Marco.
