Instead of cards we will be donating to our charity in memory of our son David who died from #ACD just 15 days old.
There is much research needed into this #raredisease that usually affects New born babies.

In this blog, the researchers share what the children told them - they aren’t passive consumers: they get marketing, branding & peer pressure, yet energy drinks remain part of their culture. Stronger policy, better education & youth input are key. ⬇️

New Fuse research @teessideuni.bsky.social reveals a concerning picture of how children in North East England perceive energy drinks. Over 80% of the 13–14-year-olds surveyed consume them - many several times a week - despite health risks and voluntary sales bans. ⬇️

The findings are both revealing.
🔍 Most of our participants reported consuming energy drinks.
🧠 Their choices were shaped by taste, image, peer influence—and a market that knows exactly how to speak to them. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10....
Our latest paper explores a question that’s been quietly brewing in school corridors, corner shops, and online spaces: What do energy drinks mean to young people?
In this study, we listened to the voices of children & young people in North East England—hearing not just what they consume, but why.
