Teaching people how to regulate their emotions is crime prevention. It's addiction prevention. It's suicide prevention. It's generational healing. It's how we stop raising adults who explode, implode, or shut down at the first sign of discomfort. Emotional regulation is not just a soft skill. It's survival. It's the foundation of a society where people can disagree without dehumanizing each other, where accountability isn't seen as an attack, and where conflict doesn't always have to mean violence. You want a better world? Start with emotional education

Trump administration says you have to work the fields to get Medicaid Americans fear that they will lose their Medicaid coverage thanks to the massive cuts Republicans made to the program ...

"According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, 92% of #Medicaid recipients work. The other 8% are either “retired, unable to find work, or were not working for another reason,” KFF said. Hard to see how retirees could do the hard labor of harvesting crops in hot fields."

Jack Dorsey made an encrypted Bluetooth messaging app Just don’t abbreviate it.

Despite the terrible name, this looks promising.

"Bitchat relies on Bluetooth Low Energy mesh networks to send encrypted communication... without accounts, servers, or data collection"

The image is a four-panel meme featuring the character SpongeBob SquarePants. Here's a detailed description:

1. Top Left Panel: SpongeBob is holding a piece of paper. The paper reads, "PROVIDING FOR THE POOR DOES MORE TO REDUCE CRIME THAN ANY POLICE AGENCY."

2. Top Right Panel: SpongeBob looks at the paper with a serious expression, as if contemplating its message.

3. Bottom Left Panel: SpongeBob is seen burning the paper, with a neutral expression.

4. Bottom Right Panel: SpongeBob smiles happily, watching the paper burn. The text "US POLITICIANS" is overlaid on this panel.

Second, AI is being used as a means of surveillance against minorities. It's just bad form imo.

Third, this is a human issue. Find a real picture of a real human. It means a whole lot more. AI art blends in with other fake art memes that push out false information. Be real. Keep it real. No AI.

I mean, first it's rather hypocritical to use AI art to protest conditions that prevent migrant workers from feeling safe to work in fields when AI art is threatening the livelihoods of artists.

Hungary banned anything that “promotes homosexuality,” which means Pride.

However, today over 500,000 people in Budapest told the government to fuck off. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Screenshot of a tweet by J.K. Rowling replying to Mark Adam Harold. Mark's tweet asks, "How are you planning to police public toilets?" J.K. Rowling responds: "Quite easily, really. Decent men will stay out, as they always have, so we can assume all who don't are a threat, given their disregard for women's and girls' safety, privacy and dignity. Photographing, reporting and disseminating such men's images online will be a piece of cake." JK Rowling explicitly calls on her followers to engage in vigilante actions against people they suspect are trans in bathrooms.

This is incredibly dangerous and far more likely to result in violence against gender nonconforming cis women.

‘FuckLAPD.com’ Lets Anyone Use Facial Recognition to Instantly Identify Cops A free tool that allows anyone to upload a photo of an LAPD officer to get their name and badge number.

This'll be interesting.

Creator Kelly MacDonald stated " #fucklapd.com is a response to the violence of the #LAPD during the recent #protests against the horrific #ICE raids. And more broadly—the failure of the LAPD to accomplish anything useful with over $2 billion in funding each year."
