Great to see our WHOLE-SMI work cited in the new UK Parliament Health and Social Care Committee report into Community Mental Health. Recommendations for longer commissioning contracts, cross-sector workforce development and more person-centred care are vital. committees.parliament.uk/work/8755/co...

I wanted to share the first paper from my PhD, a qualitative meta-synthesis of how individuals understand their own self-harm, an often overlooked factor when it comes to policy and healthcare provision

Today, via @fuseonline.bsky.social, we publish a new blog, an open letter to the UK Prime Minister, co-produced with our community advisory group, highlighting the challenges and needs of the community and the urgency in which holistic mental and physical health support needs to be addressed. 2/
As good as #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek is at highlighting the issue, people living with severe mental ill-health face challenges everyday and it is imperitive that they are and feel supported to live well and thrive in our communities 1/
