My review which says: This is typical Darcy Coates hooks you and steadily increases the suspense until you're about to scream to hurry up and find out what happened. My issue with it is that the ending very easily could have made one little switch and still tied up all the loose ends without leaving another certain thread out to dry. The ending asks multiple times "why?" which is my question too ok why end it that way? There was no point really except to make me personally annoyed I guess lol. (Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate this. It's just one of those endings that really gets you.) Anyway, this really lets you see Coates' range in writing characters, ESPECIALLY unlikable ones because I wanted to reach in and shake basically every character except 2 side
