Is it happening again?

I turned 43 in December. I read books, try to get better at guitar, play new video games, visit new places with my wife. Every day has it's challenges, but each day is also a gift, if you let it. Growing older is a privilege. I think you'll do just fine.

I cleared this game last year, put about 60 hours into it. If you didn't make it past 2-3 levels you didn't give it a proper shake.

I'm over 20 hours into Pokemon Fire Red. What a stupidly fun game.

My wife is a diehard, lifelong Pokemon fan. Today I finally kept an old promise that I would play a Pokemon game. This remake just came out for the Switch.

I put three hours into it tonight. Reminds me a little of FF with the grinding and turned based combat. Fun.

NES and SNES are the two big ones. I also have far too many Atari games. I have some PS2 but not too many.

I got into video game collecting about 4 years ago. It's an expensive hobby but also rewarding. My recommendation would be just focus on one or two consoles at a time. I'm drowning in a backlog of games I haven't played yet.
