Meganthropus palaeojavanicus of Sangiran, Central Java, Indonesia. A hominid that lived during the early-middle Pleistocene.

Brush test from last year. The fur brush is by Ville Sinkkonen, which you can get from his gumroad. Easily my top 5 brushpacks.

a Magnapaulia strides past the camera, the camera is in a low angle looking up, a blurry treeline can still be seen in the back

Magnapaulia is a kind of large hadrosaur that stood at about 3 metres tall at the hip

a Kaprosuchus swims with only its head above the water's surface in murky water, reflections of trees can be seen at the back

Kaprosuchus is an extinct relative of crocodiles from an older entirely extinct branch, it has two long horns behind its eyes and large pointed teeth

a Torosaurus (based on specimen MOR 981) looks at the camera, it is infront of a black background. a white light illuminates it from the right, while a warmer yellow light illuminates it from the left

Torosaurus is a large ceratopsian related to Triceratops, however it has larger brow horns, a larger frill, and its nasal horns vary in shape more

a Regaliceratops is seen at sunrise, the sun is directly behind it obscuring the animal down to just a black silhouette, however, the bright light from the morning sun can be seen through the bone holes in its frills, the light piercing through the skin that covers the otherwise hidden holes

Regaliceratops is a ceratopsian that was named for the ring of large blunt spikes that grow from the outer margin of its frill, creating an almost crown-like silhouette

Upside down jellyfishes look like anemones, but they're true jellies. Though they can swim, they tend to live upside down in the shallows. They bask in sunlight to feed the photosynthetic symbionts living inside its body—just like corals. 🎨 🧪 🐡
