Two life-sized figures created out of driftwood. On the right, a large "man" over 2 metres tall, all brown wood. His knees are slightly bent, arms hanging down, one hand a bit forward, as if holding something to offer to the bear. The bear, with his back to us, sits on a cut-off stump. He's small, barely a cub, even on the stump he's only half-thigh height to the Forest Guardian. (He looks like a Sasquatch, but friendlier. And the maker says he's a Forest Guardian.) He stands on a cement slab. Behind him, there's a gravel area, then trees. On the left, behind some trees, there are cars on a bridge.
Forest Guardian and Quinny the Bear Cub. Another driftwood creation. New blog post: wanderinweeta.blogspot.com/2026/04/litt... #VancouverIsland #Art #Sculpture #Driftwood #Sasquatch #NaturePhotography
