Wonder what they'd do if the Canadian government ever decides to introduce similar laws. At this point, these laws feel like a global conspiracy regardless of the government's political leaning.

Just finished Cairn. Reminds me of what indie games used to be. A moving experience that catches you off guard with unexpected deep moments. Combined with a unique well-executed gameplay. IDK about game awards, but it's definitely my personal GOTY.

Good isometric scenes are dangerous. Every time I see one my brain just goes 'why aren't you working on yours right now?'

That's clever! Is the single point driven by in-engine physics or a custom setup?

One of the features Iโ€™ve been missing most in Godot. Definitely trying this out soon.

Hah, busted! Iโ€™m not the guy actually, but this Unity version was living in my bookmarks and when I saw a similar feature is in the works for Godot too, I had to share it.

Itโ€™s not like we are arming up against each other or anything, this is just some friendly border negotiations about strategic resource allocation on the eastern farmlands.

Everything is fine.

I'm not sure which data structures offer data locality in C#, but in C++, data structures are a hot topic in general ๐Ÿ˜… It seems like no one trusts the default implementations for game and engine development and prefers to build their own.

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Well, it's basically stack allocation with a twist ๐Ÿ˜…

It provides data locality by allocating contiguous memory for its elements and enables cache-friendly read operations.

Probably slower on common list operations but if you have a finite number of pre-determined data, voila! Free performance!
