Ok, that's gorgeous. What machine are you using?

A four quart sauce pan full of chicken, carrots, potatoes, and onions, all in a thick tomato-based sauce. Turmeric and other spices have turned the sauce from red to a soft brown, with the carrots as bright orange accents.
Trader Joe's dropped the Chicken Balti pies I used to eat, so I'm attempting to recreate the filling well enough that I can stuff it into bread pockets and freeze them for lunches.
Attempt #1 had too much garam masala, but it's still quite tasty to me. (My kids would find it overwhelming.)
Something appears to have borked the image servers, it's not just here. (Which is annoying because I wanna see quilt pics!) Ref: bsky.app/profile/phot...
I love agates, but if you want to go with M gemstones, she could be Morgan or Morganite. (I think Agate/Agatha is better though.)
Kid was having a day where the brainmeat was just NOT with anything. We went to the gym and rode the exercise bikes and watched the second half of the Nova episode about which early mammals survived the Great Dying. Walking home afterward, everything was better.
Go go Gadget endorphin boosters!
That's a boop noodle. Nope ropes (IMO) have triangle heads, the better to hold the venom.
(Sneks are awesome.)
You're doomed. We're all doomed. Best kind of doomed! Awooo!
The first time my kids brought lice home, I had a near-complete meltdown, after I finished dealing with it.
Bedbugs are the stuff of nightmares.
(I always feel like Ripley when I find a tick. :shudder: )
But have you nuked the house from orbit? It's the only way to *really* be sure...
It can also take several rounds of work to get stuff to start self-seeding. Check out _Noah's Garden_ for info on what the author had to do to get hers going.
Oh, *that* tone. Yeah.
Much to my chagrin, I'm playing a Nethermancer and fighting a bunch of undead - and I'm *out* of For the Tomb. Had to content myself with Yunnan Noir.
(Bah. Guessing the original post went too viral for the author's cope. It was a question of what you'd do if you had bourgeois money.)
"Who in my friends-group needs this?"
No, no, wrong question, self. Who in my friends-group does NOT need this.
Melted bittersweet chocolate in a blue ceramic bowl, with a whisk pointing to the left of the frame.
There are few things in the world so anticipatory as melted chocolate. #BakingSky
Good job, Boydog. You show him who's boss!
I will post a photo if I manage that. (And if any of my friends can mule it to Ireland for me in their carry-on, I may then ask for a post office I could mail it to for you...)
I continue to love this, and may have to put it on a hand thrown mug at some point...
Mac, NO.
#UglyDogs not only has it got @blairbraverman.bsky.social , but it has extra special guest star Fleem at the end! (I only wish we could have had Grünch or Hari too. We stan.)
If a decond person asks, I guess I'm making a post about them. 😁 It's currently the most recent post of mine, with the actual fanfic links behind a thread.
These are my two favorite fanfics for me for the White Rat universe.
This is the one I was thinking of (archiveofourown.org/works/61373401) that I hope Ursula gets to read someday, and this is the other one I also love to pieces (archiveofourown.org/works/35607022).
I'm in a threaded conversation about fanfiction involving T. Kingfisher and Diane Duane. They are both DELIBERATELY not tagged here because there's been a request for my favorite fanfics.
Those fanfics are in the reply to this message. (Don't tag authors with fanfics of their work, lawsuits suck.)
Hah! Done. 😆
There is a particular one in the White Rat universe, on AO3, where I said to the author, "I hope that someday Ursula gets to read this one, because I think she'd love it."
Alas, lawsuits. 😔
I hope that when you finally get to Timeheart (hopefully not anytime soon) that once you've spent a good day or two hugging the heck out of Peter, you get to read all of the fanfic on AO3 that would make you go, "Awww, my readers really did *get* it!"
A wish for you and @tkingfisher.com.
You'll feel much cooler in the summer weather now, though, and be less prone to matting in your fur. And you look very distinguished now with your lovely eye spectacles!
A much-cared-for ankylosaurus plushy in a homemade leafy nest, with a kid-made quilt under her. She has a number of golf balls and similarly-sized balls under her, in lieu of actual eggs. Her name, perhaps predicably, is Anky.
My kid sends you this photo of snuggly thonk-bonk vibes. (The balls under her are eggs she's taking care of. If any of them hatch, we will send you one.)
I can't pick only ONE, there are too many awesome dinosaurs. Seriously. You have to give me a time period and a dietary restriction before I could even start to pick only one.
(I do love microraptor though.)
