Thank you to Debbie Horton for sponsoring a house for cute little Smokey. Smokey is a 16 YEAR OLD senior puppy who lives in a rural community in Southwest Alaska. Not only is is below freezing for many months of the year (like all of Alaska) but it is also very windy at times. Little Smokey had a house at one point but when his family reached out for help, he didn't have any shelter at all. We rushed this house out as quickly as possible for him. This senior boy definitely needed something better for his older body, and we are hoping this insulated house and a nice layer of straw gives him some comfort. Thank you so much to Debbie Horton for sponsoring this sweet puppies house and thank you to Lynden Air Cargo and Ryan Air, INC. for flying this house out for Smokey
An older Alaskan Husky curled up in straw in the back of a new doghouse. The house doesn't have a roof yet, they're letting Smokey figure out that it's an ok place before making it dark and maybe scary.
This makes my heart so happy. (No I don't care that I'm doxxing myself π€·ββοΈ)
