I am an anglophone transwoman refugee here in France, I came here because I needed safety from persecution. I came here believing that France stands for human rights.

It sadly all depends on what the countries' authorities for asylum procedures make as their rapport on the country. It's highly doubtful that the EU countries would be willing to change their designation for the United States. So please consider immigration first.
