1/ π¬π§βπ» Tired of going back and forth between GUIs and code for your 3D image analysis needs? Would you like to keep your focus in one place (notebook), without sacrificing interactivity? Hereβs a tool that can help!
I am so excited to share our new findings with you! We provide the structural evidence for a direct protein-to-DNA information pathway, showing how a bacterial enzyme 'reads' its own structure to 'write' DNA. www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
omg mind blown. thanks for sharing!
these are my favorite kind of papers - so coolπ€©

Receptor-ubiquitination-targeting antibody-drug conjugates for enhanced endocytosis and lysosomal delivery
Wang et al. show that migrasome formation requires tetraspanin 4 palmitoylation regulated by DHHC6 and PPT1. This modification drives tetraspanin 4 clustering with cholesterol to build migrasomes.

Out in @natmethods.nature.com: More dyes. They work. Quite well. And blink. Pick the one that fits your target, your technique, and your labeling density. With too many collaborators and institutes to list, but anchored at @hhmijanelia.bsky.social www.nature.com/articles/s41...
A surface rendered view of an endosome. The endosome surface is rendered in blue with dimples on it. In specific regions of the endosomal surface, clusters of proteins are seen as aggregates of blobs, coloured in yellow and red.
π¨New paper out today in @acs.org ACS Nano, showing how expansion microscopy can visually quantify the cell surface receptor turnover mediated by signalling & receptor organising machineries on the surfaces of endosomes, some of the smallest organelles in cells. π§ͺ π¬ 1/ pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/...
β @mathilda95.bsky.social @nadlerlab.bsky.social & co introduce a correlative light and electron #microscopy workflow, Lipid-CLEM, combining near-native #lipid probes and on-section labelling via click chemistry. Lipid-CLEM quantitatively analyses lipids in membrane nanodomains.

csmb 2026: grateful for all the cool science, great people, and amazing scenery
it was great meeting you and learning about your really cool work with cytonemes!
Great read!

im so lucky to be able to surround myself with cell biology and scientists, seeing the result of people's hard work and rigorous questioning is seriously inspiring
Cool!!

Second, Wyatt Miller clarifies the downstream signaling pathway that the "Don't Eat Me" signal CD47 uses to stop phagocytosis. A very satisfying answer to a major question we've had since I started my postdoc, with lots of interesting implications doi.org/10.1083/jcb....
