Thank you for joining us in opposition to AB 1676. There are several bad mental health bills we are monitoring, stay tuned for more updates and action alerts!

Together we made it clear that involuntary medication is dangerous, harmful, and counter to what we really need: mental health supports that are voluntary, community-based, peer-led, culturally competent, person-centered, and trauma-informed.

Two new laws are called CARE Court and SB 43. SB 43 relates to CARE Court because it is a mental health law which changes the definition of “Gravely Disabled.”

DRC has a library of resources available on our website covering over 20 categories and translated into several languages.
