Purple?! Don’t mind if I do. It’s my favorite color! Here’s an old finished object and a newer one. Details in alt text. #showmeyourknits

This is beautiful. Agreed with everyone else so far - yellow looks better as the dominant color!

Thank you ☺️ These cables are nice and dainty but also rather simple: the best of both worlds!

I loved knitting the Rockhound vest, so it was definitely fun to revisit the cable for a pullover!

My first #showmeyourknits - sweaters! Here, my new favorite (a simple Flax sweater by Tin Can Knits in Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino) and one of the first sweaters I ever made (a steeked Hedgerow Cardigan by Anne Kingstone). I am nothing if not ambitious with my #knitting. #knitsky #queerknitters

Thank you! ☺️ I’m in their discord and shared this a few times when it was a WIP, but probably haven’t posted and FO yet. I’ll do that!

Haha yes, I usually know my audience better than this, but recently bought some Danish wool and couldn’t wait to talk about it.

My (non-knitter) coworker casually asked me where I get my yarn today and she had absolutely no idea what she was getting into, but 5 minutes into my treatise on sustainable wool practices her eyes told me she knew she’d made a terrible mistake. 🧶 #knitting #knitsky

I recommend looking a bit into “color dominance” - I always hold my CC yarn on the bottom, it makes it pop against the MC more.

It took me a whole year to make, definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever knit. The colors are two fade sets dyed by Fiber Optic Yarns.

Exciting! I’d start with a Jennifer Steingass (knit.love.wool on Ravelry) worsted weight pattern. Make sure you gauge swatch the fair isle pattern as well as main color stockinette. Our favorite is the Avena. www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

Ok, giving #knitsky a try because I simply can’t stand Meta anymore. Where my #queerknitters at? Here’s my favorite FO ever, a Voyage Cardigan by Wool and Pine Designs with Pacific Knit Co Doodles.
