Fin Review whitewashing more fascist bullshit

Her plan to 'knit the country back together' is banning peacful slogans, silencing anti-genocide sentiment, and overhauling our education system with *somehow* even more ahistorical genocide justification.

Tl;dr = Thought control and fascism

🚨 Indonesia is greenlighting one of the largest deforestation projects on Earth: 5 MILLION acres of Papua’s pristine forest cleared for sugarcane. That’s an area bigger than Wales, gone for bioethanol and crops.

Trump CRASHES OUT at WH as NAVY CHIEF RESIGNS!!!! YouTube video by MeidasTouch

When Iran’s Social Media posts are more reasonable and make more sense than the U.S. President’s, AND the Navy Secretary resigns, you KNOW the #WarinIran is NOT going swimmingly!

Despite how the State Run media (i.e. Fox) spins it, this #IranWar is a disaster!

Shipbuilding contract delays could affect AUKUS submarines The US Navy's submarine-building program — which Australia is relying on for its naval fleet — risks another slowdown due to delays awarding a critical construction contract.

@albomp.bsky.social, while you’re making difficult mid term decisions, why not “renegotiate” AUKUS?

Read that writing on the wall, get us drones and defensive missiles and send the yanks packing.

It’s time.

NDIS a victim of familiar scare tactics – while untouchables roll on We rarely speak about how the NDIS became a catch-all because we don’t have enough social services and supports to help people who need it.

Listening to the gas executives yesterday while also listening to the health minister explain why we just can't afford to give support to people who need it, was just one of those WTF are we doing moments. (Plus an overheard convo that stuck in my mind) www.thenewdaily.com.au/life/health/...

Should wild deer be protected or declared a pest? | 7.30 YouTube video by ABC News In-depth

A disgrace. Experts have explained why deer should be a declared pest, that should be controlled & where possible eradicated. This was ignored & deer remain *protected*. Shame on Victorian Labor.

Putting the hunting lobby before agriculture, road safety, & the environment!

No excuse for not taxing gas super profits, cutting the CGT and -ve gearing on housing and abandoning the madness of spending $368B on nuclear subs.
Cutting NDIS expenditure, subsidising multinationals, rich investors and the arms industry is not my understanding of Labor values!

Labor at last finds courage on refocusing the NDIS. Whether bureaucrats can deliver is another matter Labor's NDIS reforms address the grim maths that some people diagnosed with a disability will need to miss out on services, which must be priorities for those with functional impairment.

"Why does the NDIS get such detailed media & govt scrutiny, when Defence - also large and growing just as rapidly - suffers far worse rorting and incompetence and gets rewarded with billions in extral funding?" asks @keanebernard.bsky.social of @crikey.com.au www.crikey.com.au/2026/04/23/l...

The rental market is already cooked which is why it's particularly predatory for companies to force applicants to provide excessive personal and private information on applications - with all the security risks this also entails. We need better privacy laws to ban this from the outset!

Not sure why the government chose this way to manage the NDIS - it'll create unnecessary nonsense over the next few years. They should have forced provider registration, with increased compliance and audits last budget. Then used how that played out to get a more accurate cost of growth areas now.

Palantir wants a remilitarised West locked into a civilisational contest against its enemies. Sound familiar? This is exactly the logic driving AUKUS. We're not just buying nuclear submarines, we're buying into someone else's war with our neighbours.
