“Right, well…I'll leave you to it.” Merc files their claws. They pay no heed to the sound of screaming poachers sliding down Montag's throat. Lumps weakly protrude from beneath his chestnut fur. A few muscular contractions from his gut quickly settles them down. Montag puts a paw to his stomach as it starts to churn, the rogue hunters’ last breaths bloating out his stomachs. Montag lets out a deep, gurgly belch.
A few days pass. Montag sleeps off his latest meal. Bones and armor alike crunch beneath waves of pressure and slide through the beast's intestines with a wet, soupy gurgle. Merc lays curled up by their monstie's side, listening to it burble as its contents shift and mix. Every so often Montag wakes up to pass gas from both ends, the sludgy remains having become a veritable feast for the microbes lurking in his guts.
