Last day of the LIJF, and another great two final sessions. This afternoon, the amazing Martin Taylor on guitar.

This evening it was the turn of the Marius Neset Quartet with Marius, Elliot Galvin, Conor Chaplin and Anton Eger.

Neil pulled it out of the bag again with a fantastic 4 days of jazz.

Another great evening at the LIJF listening to and seeing Robert Mitchell’s (piano) Little Black Book featuring Laurie Lowe (drums) and Chris Montague (guitar).

Then on to Quarry to see a number of up and coming Jazz/blues bands.

Great spending time with my bestie too & sharing the experience. 🥰

Second day at the LIJF and what a performance by tonight’s artistes, David Helbock (Piano and Strings) and Julia Hofer (Bass and Cello), who created a really special sound. Even versions of Prince songs!

What a way to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Kung Hei Fat Choy to Kieng, Tommy, Ming and the whole team, at the Choy Hing Village, who made the night so special. The food, as always, was phenomenal, and the service exceptional.
