I think that primarily with a new Fraser Mummy coming out but there are also just a lot of mummy movies including the original Universals and the Hammers. Kind of like how "Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein" and "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein" are the last two major adaptations of that story.

I think the title is funny but I don't think Lee Cronin just got to name the movie that. My guess is it has more to do with branding and SEO than anything else.
