A guy I know sang the National Anthem before this. Proud of all my other Nebraskans that made some good trouble.

Would’ve loved to see the Chris Farley Fatty Arbuckle movie. There are some really delicate moments in Tommy Boy where I think you can see his more serious chops. I just watched this yesterday for the first time in forever.
Oh man! So many great movies there. That Halloween 4K beats the hell out of the DVD copy I had when I was a kid.
Rewatching 1408. One of John Cusack’s best performances. #moviesky #johncusack
Finishing this up!
Agreed. So many great scenes and a hell of a send-off for Newman. His scenes with Hanks and Craig are masterclasses.
Civil rights is not a “critical function.” Not. Fucking. Surprised.
Also, the premise is false. Education decisions largely lies with the states already.
Picked this one up yesterday. Read the prologue. Pretty sure I won’t put it down.

Almost 16 decades. (I say sarcastically)
Also—a majority of educational rights lie with the states. I think federal funds make up 12% of the budget of the largest district where I’m at.
Muppet Departed? Sam Eagle snorting a ton of cocaine a la Nicholson?
Let’s make that happen.
I could’ve told you ten years ago that public education was running on borrowed time. But we’ve always fought for education as it’s the great equalizer.
Time to fight some more.
RIP Gene Hackman
Haven’t listened to a #Lumineers album since Cleopatra. But this new one sounds really damn good. And this vinyl is gorgeous.

Damn. Really nervous about this. Prequel series about all the villains…
Bond is the only character who has any sort of lore.
Next up! Finally reading the memoir of one of my greatest comedic influences!

Oh man. Excited to hear about that.
Are you actually working on a Night of the Hunter remake?!
In case you ever feel dumb, remember that an actual congressman submitted this actual bill.
Companion was brilliant.

@richardchizmar.bsky.social might be one of the best authors I’ve ever read. His ability to craft feelings from the language he uses is brilliant. Really enjoying this one.

He’s hit and miss for me as an actor but he seems to be a genuine guy, treats his fans well which wins him big points from me.
So much more than “the Peanuts guy.” Such a gifted composer.
Saw an interview with Jack where he said if this was the last movie he made, he’d be okay with it. He considers it to be a perfect film. He said the kids were awesome and he felt like they were delivering a great message.
