I worked at one in TX. The chocolate dip was right by the drive thru window.
I gave a dipped cone to a woman and she said "I think a mayfly just flew onto it." Made her another. Same thing. Drained the wax chocolate and discovered that many bugs flew thru the dt window and drowned in chocolate.
